The race that had  attracted two candidates has seen aliociri museali securing 3,203 votes against handful 534 votes obtained by his opponent Raphel Voro AK kabaka, who was a market tenderer. Aliociri swept votes through out the five parishes of nyoroo, pabura, baria , kimiru and pabura west.

This is a response to government failure and damage to several foot bridges caused by heavy rains in Maracha. Road chokes have been a major trouble for communities in Maracha, yet available resources do not trickle down to lower local governments to help them fix sub-county and community road infrastructure. Accessibility to services has had a detrimental impact on some communities, especially expectant mothers and farmers. This offer is intended to complement the efforts of Maracha youth to ensure accessibility to markets, health facilities, and other critical government services. It will also supplement the efforts of communities by doing something durable.
