The parish priest for Aripea Parish, Fr Richard Wukut, before praying and blessing Hon Obigah Rose during the Thanksgiving Ceremony, described the woman MP as a lobbyist, a listener, and a human rights defender.
He further explained that the people should vote for pro-people politicians, but not those, when they reach Parliament, the NRM Party Caucus will be their director for decision-making in passing bills.
“As the Church, we always advise people to observe three things when deciding on who to choose as their leader: Vote for Pro-people, God fearing, and Rule of Law / Human Rights Defender Politicians,” Fr Wukut stated during the prayer session as he described Hon Obigah Rose as a pro-people and consultative leader.

According to Hon Obigah Rose, she has embarked on holding the Thanksgiving Ceremonies in all 7 Sub-counties of Terego District, in which she budgeted for two cows to be slaughtered per Sub-county to commemorate the events.
