It is with deep sadness that I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the Late Ambassador Angualia Laus, who tragically lost his life in a road accident near Abi ZARDI in Arua City as he journeyed to Maracha.
Ambassador Angualia was more than a statesman he was a pillar of wisdom, humility, and patriotism. His contribution to Uganda as a seasoned diplomat and a senior figure in public service left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. As a son of Maracha, his unwavering commitment to community development and unity will forever be remembered.
Though we belonged to different political affiliations, I deeply respected Ambassador Angualia for his maturity in leadership and devotion to national service. He believed in dialogue, mentorship, and building a better future for the people of West Nile and Uganda at large.
As a National Unity Platform (NUP) aspirant for LC5 Chairperson of Maracha District, I join the rest of the district and nation in mourning a man whose legacy must not be forgotten. His passing is not just a personal loss to his family but a great loss to the entire district.
May the Almighty grant his soul eternal rest and give strength to those he leaves behind.
Rest in peace, comrade.
ADRIKO Fred
Aspirant LC5 Chairperson, Maracha District
