Greetings. I hope this message finds you well. We were heartened by the overwhelming support we received in Drambu, despite the attempts by some opponents to mobilize resistance. Their efforts to intimidate and harm us were evident, but thankfully, we were protected by divine providence. I extend my deepest gratitude to our supporters who came to our aid during the chaotic moments when stones, sticks, and bottles were thrown at us. Even as we drove away, objects were hurled in our direction, and our driver had to navigate through the crowd to ensure our safety.
We are grateful that no harm came to us, and I appreciate the quick thinking of our driver. The hostile intentions of our opponents were clear, but we thank God for shielding us from harm.
I am particularly touched by the dedication of over 100 women from Drambu who accompanied us back home, a testament to their enthusiasm and support. Tomorrow, we will convene with our security team to review the events and chart a way forward. If the district provides adequate security guarantees, we are prepared to proceed with joint campaigns in Oleba Town Council.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to our supporters in Drambu and extend forgiveness to those who sought to harm us, whether intentionally or unintentionally. May God bless us all. Goodnight.
