UPDATE ON NUP PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN IN ARUA DISTRICT/CITY. 20-11-2025. On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, Arua District and City hosted NUP presidential candidate Hon. Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, as part of his campaign tour. He began his campaign at Okazara Primary School grounds in Vurra Sub-County, Arua District; however, he was unable to address the rally there. He then proceeded to Ovisoni Trading Centre, also in Vurra Sub-County, where he waved at people by the roadside. Kampala socialite Bryan Kirumira, commonly known as Bryan White, has been charged with human sacrifice, manslaughter and several related offences in connection with the death of a 25-year-old woman who allegedly sustained fatal burn injuries at his Kyamula residence in Makindye Division, Kampala. Although his name appears on the charge sheet as the lead suspect, Mr Kirumira did not appear in the dock on Thursday when the charges were being read to his co-accused persons. His wife, Daisy Nalunga and their co-accused, identified as Daphine Abaho, Naava Nakato, and Joyce Irene Nambalirwa, appeared before Grade One Magistrate Teddy Nakawuki at Makindye Chief Magistrates Court, where the charges were only read to them by the court clerk.
