Odupi Sub-county Residents Decry Land Grabbing, Ask NRM Candidate Babanga Wilfred to Help Them After He Becomes Their MP.

Residents in Azapi Parish, Odupi Sub-county, Terego East Constituency in Terego District have on Monday 10-November-2025 pleaded to Terego East Constituency NRM Party MP Candidate, Babanga Wilfred Erima to intervene in what they described as “Alarming Land Grabbing” orchestrated by a politician in their area.

The voters made their appeal to the MP hopeful Babanga as he went to Azapi Parish, in Odupi Sub-county to launch his first official campaign for the MP bid ahead of 15-1-2026 general election.

Most of the residents who spoke during Question and Answer session in the Campaign rally, unanimously decried the rampant land grabbing, describing it as “Existential Threat for the People of Odupi Sub-county” perpetrated by a politician (Name withheld for security reasons), for  using his powerful position to silence or influence court proceedings in his favor, leaving the majority population helpless and without land.

In his response to the issues the voters raised on land grabbing, the NRM Party MP Candidate Babanga Wilfred Erima who is also a Land specialist by profession and has an appointment with Ministry of Lands, as Customary Land Certificate Expert (CLCE), promised to address the question of Land grabbing within the shortest period after he assumes office as the MP for Terego East Constituency 2026 - 2031.

Apparently, Babanga Wilfred Erima who won the 17-7-2025 NRM Party primary election for Parliamentary position with 11,000 votes to become the official NRM Party candidate for Terego East Constituency MP position, is being wrestled against by three Candidates, including the State Minister for Lands, Housing and Urban development Hon Obiga Mario Kania who doubles as the incumbent MP but lost the NRM flag after he polled 7,000 votes from the primary election and he recently on 23-10-2025 got nominated as Independent Candidate, Jadribo Victor (Independent) and one other candidate.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.

Surgeons have been banned from practicing plastic surgery after a billionaire patient died during a penis enlargement procedure. Belgian-Israeli diamond dealer Ehud Arye Laniado, 65, died of a heart attack during the procedure to enlarge his penis at the Saint-Honore-Ponthieu aesthetic clinic in Paris. His star surgeon, known as Guy H, was known for operating on wealthy clients and he treated Ehud two to four times a year in procedures costing tens of thousands of euros. Wealthy Omega Diamonds owner Ehud would be operated on out of office hours. He had been having injections into his penis to make it appear larger. An investigation was swiftly opened into potential manslaughter chargers following his death, though it soon shifted to charges of failing to assist a person in danger, drug offences and practicing medicine without a licence.
