WhatsApp has unveiled a new feature that lets users edit messages that have already been sent. With the new feature, users of the instant messaging service would be able to edit messages even 15 minutes after sending them, the Chief Executive Officer of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, disclosed this on Monday 22-5-2023. “For the moments when you make a mistake or simply change your mind, you can now edit your sent messages on WhatsApp. “We’re excited that you’ll now have more control over your chats, such as correcting misspellings or adding more context to a message. “For this, within 15 minutes of sending the message, you have to tap and hold that message for a while and then select the option of ‘Edit’ from the menu.” Before the new feature, users of the social media had to delete messages or provide corrections in a different message. Statement on Nakasongola accident.  The traffic police at Nakasongola yesterday  20th.05.2023, at about 1700/C registered a serious accident at Namayonjo Village along the Kampala Gulu highway involving four motor vehicles reg  NO. Indeed!! When you own certain intellectual property such as a trademark, then you must have proof of ownership. It is not enough to tell people that the company that makes that nice juice is yours.  You must show proof of that ownership. For example, if you owned land, you would have a ‘kyapa’ (certificate of title) for that land. Similarly, now that you own the trademark for that juice called ‘kawomela’ (delicious) you will need a ‘kyapa’ for that name and juice. This ‘kyapa’ is called Certificate of registration. Once you have this, that trademark (symbol, phrase) that customers use to identify your product truly belongs to you. However, remember this ownership must be renewed after seven (7) years and every 10 years after that to retain ownership of that trademark.
