Long Live: Elders in Maracha District Pray, Shower Mr Aduma Justus & PHASE Org With Praises for Donating Food for the Poor People.

Pragmatic Help Achieving Social Empowerment (PHASE) an NGO registered in Somalia in 2014, through its Director, Technical and Program manager Mr Justus Yeero Aduma has on Monday 1-May-2023 donated food items amounting to over 50,000,000 Shs to the vulnerable people in Maracha East Constituency, Maracha District.

PHASE is funded by an organization called iDRF from Western World.

The relief food program whose distribution and process of identifying beneficiaries meeting held on 28-4-2023 was left to religious leaders in the 11 Sub-counties of Maracha East Constituency, has benefited over 600 vulnerable people.

While briefing the beneficiaries on 1-May-2023 about the background of the organization, he said, the organization that was only operating in war ravaged Somalia, later on expanded its operations to Kenya and now to Uganda.

Mr Justsu who joined the organization in 2019, is the only person from Uganda who has successfully managed to persuade the  organization to extend supply of relief items to poor people in Uganda, specifically to people in Maracha District.

He warned the beneficiaries and the general public against politicizing this generosity.

Mrs Florence Timbaru from Paranga church of Uganda in Paranga Sub-county, thanked Mr Justus Yero Aduma and the team from PHASE for serving the vulnerable people without bias or segregation.

Mr Ebafura Candia Andia an 85 years old beneficiary from Luje, Nyadri South Sub-county said, for over  many years and decades, Mr Justus Yeero Aduma is the only person who has done such wonders to lobby and donate food for the poor people in the history of Maracha District.

Retired Rev Chiriako Onzima from Oleba Town Council appealed to the organization (PHASE) to open a feeding centre to cater for the most weak, sick, elderly or malnourished people in Maracha District.

Mrs Adiru Mariam, a moslem from Paranga Sub-county asked all the women during the relief food distribution on Monday 1-May-2023 to clap their hands as another way of appreciating Mr Yeero Justus for the humanitarian gesture portrayed.

Mr Candia thanked God for Justus Aduma's existence on earth and he also asked God to extend his life on earth because of the kindness he has shown to the vulnerable.

Mr Nelson Matua asked Technical and Program manager of PHASE to lobby Healthcare system from the organization to help those who can't afford medical bills in private pharmacies / clinics or in government health centers which he said, are at times impossible to rescue them in time over known challenges.

In summary, majority of the beneficiaries who were elders from the age of 50 and above, said, it's the first of its kind in the whole of Maracha District for someone like Mr Justus Aduma Yeero to lobby distribution of food from an NGO direct to the poor people.

They prayed to God to extend his life on Earth.
