APPRECIATION MESSAGE FROM ALIONI YORKE ODRIA (MP) ARINGA SOUTH CONSTITUENCY AND MINISTER OF STATE FOR INFORMATION, COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY AND NATIONAL GUIDANCE.
Fellow WestNilers and Ugandans at large, Greetings.
On this special day of Edi Mubarak, Wednesday 27-5-2026, I would like to extend my sincere words of thanks and appreciation to the people of Aringa South Constituency in Yumbe District for the support they entrusted unto me to be their MP ever since 2016 to date. It's through this foundation that more doors of blessings have continued to open for our district and region.
In another special way, I would also like to thank Gen Charles Otema Awanyi who groomed me with his hands to become who I am today.
To the first Family; Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Gen Salim Saleh and HIS Excellence Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of the Republic of Uganda, I thank all of you so much for the confidence, hope, and trust bestowed upon me with this new appointment in the position of Minister of State for Information, Communications Technology and National Guidance (National
Guidance).
Being one of the vocal and loud anti-corruption crusaders in Uganda, I promise now to start fighting corruption through technology. We must all unite and join hands to support President Museveni in fighting corruption, which is one of the biggest cancers stifling service delivery and developments in Uganda.
I promise to serve and deliver my best for the NRM Party and the Government.
I speak all these, FOR God and MY Country.
Long Live Yumbe District
Long Live WestNile Region
Long Live Gen Charles Otema
Long Live Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba
Long Live Gen Salim Saleh
Long Live President Yoweri Museveni
Long Live NRM Party
Long Live Uganda.
Thanks
Yours, Alioni Yorke Odria (MP) Aringa South Constituency, and Minister of State for Information, Communications Technology and National Guidance.
