Maracha District Coordinator for Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hon Alema Dicky who decried low voter turn-up in some of the polling stations on voting days, advised the people of Nyadri Sub-county to embrace going out to vote on polling days.

“Voting is the process of each and everyone surrendering their power and rights to whoever they see fit to lead and bring for them services and developments”, says Hon Alema who doubles as the overall campaign chairman for the NRM Party flag bearer Dr Aliti Tom.

Hon Alema further cautioned the people of Nyadri Sub-county not to let wrong people take their powers away by simply not going to participate in voting on the day of elections, henceforth giving an opportunity for the wrong people to take advantage of such low voter turn-up.

While describing himself as an example by mentioning the various positions he held in the society and in the clan before becoming Maracha District NRM Chairperson, Ofekua Gabriel tasked the people of Nyadri Sub-county to use the upcoming 12-January 2026 general election as a litmus paper to vote for the Candidates based on their societal and work experiences in the community rather than those who will come to brag before the crowd over their travel trips abroad, adding that, the people of Maracha East Constituency were once deceived after a Candidate who was working abroad came back to use such external employment opportunities as a basis of getting votes but after he was voted, he ended up disappointing the people of Maracha East Constituency.

Stay tuned.
