Arua to Get a Health Centre III and IV from President Museveni After He Gets Re-elected in 2026 General Election.

Incumbent President of Uganda, Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni who is also the NRM Party Chairman and candidate for the upcoming January-2025 Presidential general election has promised to improve the healthcare system for the people of Arua District and Arua City.
The President pronounced the manifesto at Arua Golf ground on Monday afternoon 13-10-2025 while campaigning for himself and the NRM Party flag Bearers for LC5 Chairperson and Parliamentary positions in Arua District and Arua City.
In his statement, he pledged to upgrade Arivu Health Centre II to a health center III in Arua District, meanwhile Orivu Health Centre III, a health facility which is currently undergoing construction works in Ayivu East Constituency in Arua City will be upgraded to a health centre IV, bringing the total of health centers in Ayivu East Constituency to 4 in number, namely; Oreku Health Centre II, Ombidrodrea Health Centre III, Riki Health Centre III, and Orivu Health Centre IV.

Besides the manifesto to improve the healthcare system in these two Local Government units, President Museveni also promised to tarmac the muddy and potholed Nebbi - Zombo - Vurra custom road to make it better for Agriculture and Trade along that area in the border line with DRC Congo.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s wife, the first Lady, Hon Jannet Kataha Museveni who accompanied him for the rallies, thanked the people of Arua District and Arua City for overwhelmingly coming out in large numbers to show their support and also for reaffirming continued loyalty for the NRM Party and government, which she described as a good gesture for the current and future stability and development of Uganda.
“Many have been thinking that African Countries are weak and confused, that is why some people here have been leaving Uganda to go abroad thinking they will get into a better Life and Country”, Hon Jannet who doubles as the Cabinet Minister for Education and Sports, as she appealed to all the Ugandans to be united and join hands together to build the Uganda everyone wishes to be proud of.
It should be noted that, the Electoral Commission of Uganda in September-2025 duly nominated 8 Candidates to contest for Uganda's Presidency in the upcoming 12-January-2025 general elections and the nominated Candidates include;
1- Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni (National Resistance Movement)
2- Kasibante Robert (National Peasants Party)
3- Kyagulanyi Robert Sentamu (National Unity Platform party)
4- Mugisha Gregory Muntu Oyera (Alliance for National Transformation Party)
5- James Nathan Nandala Mafabi (Forum for Democratic Change Party)
6- Mubarak Munyangwa Sserunga ( Common Man's Party)
7- Bulira Frank Kabinga ( Revolutionary People's Party).
8- Mabirizi Joseph ( Conservative Party).
