Journalist Mawa Emmanuel Collapsed and Died on the Spot in Arua District.

A Journalist who was working with 96.3 Access FM located in Arua City, Mr Mawa Emmanuel has died after he collapsed at his home in Ajono Parish, Vurra Sub-county in Vurra Constituency, Arua District.

Born in 1968, Mawa died on Wednesday morning 13-8-2025 and he is scheduled to be buried tomorrow, Friday 15-8-2025.

Margaret Osandru, wife of the deceased Journalist, who witnessed what befell her husband explained that, he woke up okay in the morning and as he later on tried to go for a short call in the latrine, he just collapsed and died on spot.

She further reiterated that the late Journalist Mawa was diagnosed with Tuberculosis, Ulcer and a Heart disease, and she suspects her husband died from these diseases.

The third born child of the deceased, Onzima Vincent, aged 29 years described their father as someone who was a God-fearing person and he also spent his life advising them in being closer to the church.

A neighbor to the deceased, Mr Ewama Emannuel expressed shock over the death of Mawa Emmanuel.

He added that, the late Journalist lived a very simple and innocent lifestyle without creating enemies.

The late Journalist Mawa Emmanuel left behind a widow and 5 children.

Ambassador Angualia Richard Perished in a Fatal Accident.

Former Uganda's Ambassador to Egypt, Ambassador Angualia Louis Richard has been reported dead this evening 5pm 28-7-2025 after he was involved in a head-on collision accident with another motorcycle rider near Abi Farm, Ayivu East Constituency in Arua City. 📸: Photos from the scene of the Accident. Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.
