Sebby Muhammad, a Youth leader in Nsambya North Cell, regretted the negligence and abandonment of the youth by some of the elected leaders in Arua City.
“They aren't supporting us through lobbying for factories and other projects that can employ us, the Youths, but they end up labeling us as thieves and calling the security operatives to chase and harass us”, Sebby painfully stated.
When asked why they are yearning for change as Young people, Sebby quickly pointed at Samanya Daphine Draza as the politician who can easily address the youth's challenges because she is also a young person and she knows what it means.

Unlike the majority of the people who spoke positively towards the event, Grace Okwai, a mother in Nsambya North Cell, castigated politicians in Arua City for making a lot of promises to the voters during campaigns, but they don't fulfill them if elected.
“The experience of the several leaders we elected in the past years has taught us that politicians can have sweet words to mobilize votes but once they are elected, they disappear for many years”, Grace testified while urging the voters to be careful in choosing their leaders.
However, Daphine Draza promised never to disappoint the voters once she is elected to become the Woman MP of Arua City.
The Arua City Woman MP race has attracted three potential candidates, thus; Hon Osoru Mourine the incumbent, Samanya Daphine Draza and Sheila Obia who are all contesting in the NRM Party primary election scheduled to take place in 16-7-2025 and thereafter the NRM party flag bearer will proceed to contest against other Independent and opposition party candidates who will get nominated to contest in the February 2026 general elections.
