Brighter Monday Organization Uganda Partners with Driwaru Jennifer Foundation Institute to Offer Soft Skills Training for Young People.

It was a blessing and another remarkable day at Driwaru Jennifer Foundation (DJF) Institute on Friday 13-6-2025 when the Institute received an NGO called Brighter Monday, a Mastercard funded organization that trains Young people in Uganda on soft skills.
The training, which targeted over 100 students at Driwaru Jennifer Foundation (DJF) Institute and community members, was basically on public speaking, personal effectiveness, customer care and stress management.
📸: Bashir Songi, Trainer of the program.Trainer of the program, Mr Bashir Songi stated that, the Organization Brighter Monday Organization Uganda aims at closing the gap between the job seekers and job creators in Uganda through creating awareness, communication strategies and linking the two together.
He advised the beneficiaries of this training at Driwaru Jennifer Foundation (DJF) Institute to put the training into good use.
Bashir further elaborated that, their target groups are often Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Technical institutions like Driwaru Jennifer Foundation.

📸: Staff of PSACE Organization, Mr Adriko Rogers speaking to our reporter on Friday .Adriko Rogers who works with Sustainable Planning and Action for Community Empowerment (SPACE) an NGO which partners with Brighter Monday Organization in identifying various institutions for implementation of their projects, said they are planning to train 1,000 young people on soft skills and hands-on skills training in Maracha District.
While mobilizing the public in joining and embracing their programs, Adriko indicated that, it's their responsibility to make the skilling industry employable by having conduct tracing to get for them the job opportunities.

Photo by Our News Reporter, Osuta Yusuf.Woman MP for Maracha District Hon Driwaru Jennifer who is also the founder of the Driwaru Jennifer Foundation (DJF) Institute applauded Brighter Monday Organization in partnership with SPACE Organization for developing this idea of empowering the young people with mindset change as a priority for Socio-economic Transformation ventures.
Hon Driwaru used this occasion to appeal to the young people, not to be forced into marriage by a girlfriend or boyfriend when they are not yet ready for it.
“Sometimes Men can sweet-talk you but do not allow yourself to be carried away by those sweet words. Go to their place and see with your own eyes if he has a house or not so that incase you get married or conceive for him, you will not struggle to look for their home”, Says Hon Driwaru as she equally advised the boys not to be pushed into marriage by girls or other factors.
In her conclusion remarks, the woman MP cautioned the beneficiaries of these programs to use them well and maintain close contacts with Driwaru Jennifer Foundation institute incase of employment opportunities that may get them after graduating from this institute.
