Muslim Clergies in Terego District Endorse Hon Obigah Rose for 2026 - 2031 Woman MP Seat.

Muslim clerics in Terego District have endorsed incumbent Woman MP Hon Obigah Rose as the sole candidate for the Terego District Woman MP race 2026 - 2031.

Endorsement by the majority Muslim leaders happened on Sunday during a meeting that was convened to receive money from Hon Obigah Rose, meant to buy land to establish headquarters for the Muslims in Terego District.
Terego, a district with 54 mosques, has close to 15,000 registered voters in the Muslim community.

The Chairman of Terego District Muslim Union, Iddi Alahai, while comparing Hon Obigah Rose to a mother who produces a twin but always keeps the breast on the right side for the male twin and the breast on the left side for the female twin, prayed to God to protect and bless Hon Obigah Rose.
“I was born and raised here in Terego District, but I have never seen a woman MP or area MP in this district bringing services, developments, and representation to the people of Terego District massively in Parliament like the way I have seen you are doing,” Mr. Iddi stated.

Following the woman MP's persistent effort to amplify food security and avert climate change through the yearly distribution of fruit and tree seedlings for free to the people in Terego District, Mr Aliga Amin, one of the elders in Terego District Muslims Union, hailed Hon Obigah Rose for Her vision.
Mr Aliga further thanked Hon Rose for always exhibiting high respect for the people in the district.
“I am surprised. You are a Lawyer by profession, but you often kneel down to greet us Elders! We had thought you were playing tricks and foolery, but we have now indeed known and believed that you are not playing tricks and fooling us”, Amin averred as he thanked the woman MP Hon Rose for her discipline and down-to-earth lifestyle.

Abdu Razak, the AMIR for Muslims in Terego District, while describing Hon Obigah Rose and Hon Saka Wilfred as the strong pillars of Terego District, told the gathering to ensure these two leaders remain in those positions in the upcoming 2026 - 2031 general elections.

Secretary for Terego District Muslims Union, Juma Issa who expressed his happiness for the immense contributions and work the Woman MP Hon Obigah Rose has done for the Muslims in the district, urged the Imums to rally their congregations to support and vote for her in the upcoming elections.

Unaware of what was going to happen in the meeting, Hon Obigah Rose was shocked and knelt down to appreciate and thank the Muslim leaders who all agreed to endorse and vote for her as the sole candidate for the Terego District Woman MP position 2026 - 2031.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.
