During the belated International Women's Day celebration in Nyadri South Sub-county, Maracha East Constituency in Maracha District on Tuesday, 18-3-2025, Aseru Sarah Foundation gave out a total of 20 goats to 20 women randomly selected from different fields and positions in Maracha District local government.

Aseru Sarah Foundation is a Community-Based Organization registered in Maracha District in the 2022 / 2023 financial year with the main aim of empowering the girl child, vulnerable Youths, single mothers, and widows.

Hon Candia Joel the LC3 Chairperson for Oluvu Sub-county who delivered the message of Ms. Aseru Sarah the founder of the Aseru Sarah Foundation, said, this new award dubbed the MARACHA DISTRICT WOMEN EXCELLENCE AWARD is aimed at appreciating the workforce and dedication put by women in their various designations and positions of serving the people in different areas and offices.

“With this gift, I have received, I really feel the services I have offered to the community for over Ten years now have been appreciated and honored,” Stella, who was engulfed in joy, added during an interview with our News reporter.
