WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

On Friday 4-September-2020 NRM Party primary elections, by then Driwaru Jennifer who got 28000 votes defeated Hon Ayaka Rose who got 13000 votes, a result Hon Ayaka wasn't satisfied about and she decided to petition the NRM party tribunal, seeking to quash the results but NRM party tribunal upheld Driwaru Jennifer's victory from the party primary elections.

Still unsatisfied by the outcome of both the election results and the petition she filed at the party tribunal, Hon Ayaka Rose decided to run as an Independent candidate in the 14-1-2021 general elections but she was again defeated by Driwaru Jennifer who garnered 30,004 votes and became the winner for the woman MP seat 2021 - 2026, as Hon Ayaka Rose Atima lost with 17,879 votes and another Independent candidate Bako Judith came in third position after scoring 2,753 votes.

Where as people usher into the new year with high hopes and ambitions for positive things, for Hon Ayaka Rose Atima the former woman MP, 2024 has been a bad year as many of her coordinators and agents in Maracha District have willingly defected to the camp of the incumbent Woman MP Hon Driwaru Jennifer.

From January 2024 to December 2024, a total of about 28 Agents and Coordinators belonging to Hon Ayaka Rose, have so far crossed and endorsed Hon Driwaru Jennifer as the only potential candidate for 2026 - 2031 Maracha District Woman MP position on NRM party ticket.

At the beginning of what one would call an unfortunate year, on 25-January-2024, a total of 9 staunch Campaign Coordinators and Agents of Hon Ayaka Rose defected to the camp of Hon Driwaru Jennifer, on grounds that they have seen light in her leadership.

Here is the list of Hon Rose Ayaka's staunch Coordinators and Agents who defected between 25-January-2024 to December-2024 and they declared their support for Hon Driwaru Jennifer as the woman MP for Maracha District 2026 - 2031.

The former woman MP Hon Ayaka's Personal Assistant, Mr Abiti Safet from Robu Parish in Awiziru Sub-county who testified of how he moved together with Hon Ayaka Rose to radio talk shows and other public events, as her PA, stated that, he has seen light and true leadership in Hon Driwaru Jennifer in these three years of her leadership as the woman MP for Maracha District.

He expressed regrets on why he didn't see in her the light of leadership in order to support, campaign and vote for Driwaru Jennifer after she became the NRM party flag bearer.

Hon Ayaka's staunch Coordinator from Alikua Sub-county, Mr. Dramaza Michael who compared the defection of Agents and Coordinators as the hunting of an elephant which can never be forgotten, described Woman MP Driwaru Jennifer’s achievements as great legacies that can even be felt by the blind.

LC1 Chairman for Kore village, Robu Parish in Awiziru Sub-county, Mr Asega Martin who is also a staunch NRM mobilizer confessed on 19-12-2024 for not supporting, mobilizing and voting for NRM party flag bearer Hon Driwaru Jennifer during the 14-1-2021 general elections.

He pledged his total support for Woman MP Hon Driwaru Jennifer in the upcoming 2026 - 2031 general election campaigns.

When we contacted the former Woman MP Hon Ayaka Rose today Tuesday 31-12-2024 for a comment over her agents and Coordinators who defected from her camp, she declined to speak, saying that she is currently busy with the program of organizing Fireworks display in the district.

Stay tuned here as we shall be publishing the entire list of Agents and Coordinators who defected between January 2024 to December 2024 from the former Woman MP Hon Rose Ayaka's camp, into the camp of incumbent Woman MP Hon Driwaru Jennifer.
