Fugitive Who Chopped 3 People, Killed One and Burnt Houses in Maracha, Finally Cut with Panga in Terego While Stealing Goats.

A young man in the names of Eyotre Kennedy, aged around 33 years, from Etoko village, Nyoroo Parish in Maracha District who has been in hiding for so many months after cutting 3 people with Panga between 2017 to 2022, he murdered one person in 2023 and burnt houses on 9-September-2024 and went into hiding, has finally been exposed after he was caught last night while trying to steal Goats in Odupi Sub-county, Terego East Constituency in Terego District.

Reliable sources confirmed that, upon trying to escape, Eyotre Kennedy who was caught live in the theft last night started a physical fight in which he nearly overpowered owner of the goats and it prompted the owner to make alarm which immediately attracted the residents who eventually came into his rescue and the culprit Eyotre was finally cut with panga on his left leg and finger.

With no clear identity known to the people and security operatives in Odupi Sub-county where the theft took place, Police in Terego District decided to dump the already fractured Eyotre at Omugo Health Centre IV earlier today Sunday 17-November-2024.

However, from reliable sources, the fugitive Eyotre concealed his identity from the health workers at Omugo Health Centre IV by telling his name as “Eyotre Moses”, an action probably to avoid detection by both security and concerned stakeholders who are following his whereabouts over the assault, murder and arson cases he caused in Nyoroo Parish, Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District between 2017 upto September-2024.

According to the records, Eyotre Kennedy escaped from Koboko Prison in May-2024 after he was remanded awaiting hearing of  murder case he caused in 2023.

By the time of filing this story this evening, the fractured Eyotre Kennedy, allegedly disguised in the medical form as Eyotre Moses, was rushed to Arua Regional Referral Hospital to get medical treatment.
