Photo by Osuta Yusuf, Information is Power.Kici valley in Minyoko Parish, Awiziru Sub-county which connects Maracha District to Arua City, has finally received a culvert bridge to ease movement of people to market, Health centres, school and farm products from the area.
The Kici culvert bridge whose total construction cost is 7 million shs and it's expected to be completed in one month, is funded by the Woman MP for Maracha District Hon Driwaru Jennifer.
📸: Angua Village LC1, Kamilo Ephraim.LC1 Chairman for Angua Village in Minyoko Parish, Mr Kamilo Ephraim who expressed the pain of the people in the area, reteiterated that, they wrote several letters to the district requesting for culverts to construct this bridge but to date, their requests weren't fulfilled.

She stated that, Hon Driwaru Jennifer came to put Kici Bridge in her manifesto, when she went to campaign for 2021 general election, the place was impassable henceforth making her to park the car in a far distance and it made her to hire some residents to guard it.
John Alua, a resident of the area said, lack of bridge on Kici Valley has been stopping cars and blocking people in this village and Parish from accessing services like health centers and markets during rainy days.

Hon Driwaru Jennifer who is abroad for official duties, while passing her message through the people she deligated to oversee the project said, she is fulfilling both her manifestos during 2021 election campaigns and also the NRM party manifesto of Socio-economic Transformation.
