Ring Leaders Of 100 NUP Party Members Take Advantage of Ezama Ham Mizamil Thanksgiving Ceremony to Convert into NRM Party.

Group of staunch National Unity Platform (NUP) Party members in Yumbe District who have been coordinating and leading over 100 Opposition party members, have officially crossed over to National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party.


The NUP Party Members led by Mr Mahad Angudipi Juma have defected to NRM party on Saturday 8-June-2024 during Ezama Ham Mizamil Thanksgiving Ceremony, an event aimed at Thanking President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the NRM government for the immense achievements, appointments and service deliveries rendered to the people of WestNile region since the ruling party came into power on 26-1-1986.


Central Division Arua City Deputy resident city commissioner Mr Ezama Ham Mizamil who organized the Thanksgiving ceremony described the defectors as a big achievement for the NRM government.

He said, he is not an intelligence security officer but he knows what these guys he has convinced to join NRM party are capable of, noting that, some of his groups are upto date in jail.




Mahad Angudipi Juma  who is the leader of the defectors stated that, it's NRM party's patriotism, developments, Pan-Africanism and Socio-economic Transformation programs that made them to join the yellow movement party.

He advised other Opposition remnants to understand the four principles of NRM party so that they can join it.



Mr Icogor Charles the Resident City Commissioner for Arua City who was guest of honour at the Ezama Ham Mizamil Thanksgiving Ceremony, pledged to work closely with the new Defectors so that he can bring the remaining NUP Party Members to join NRM party.

Ambassador Angualia Richard Perished in a Fatal Accident.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.

Photo by #Information_is_Power's news reporter.  This afternoon Friday 5-December-2025, a student from St Joseph Laboratory Training School in Maracha hospital, a one  Araku Denis drowned in Rokoze water body in Nyadri Sub-county and the  body has not been retrieved upto this night as the police and residents searched for it and in vain but they are expected to resume retrieving it tomorrow Saturday 6-December-2025. 📸: Photo of the deceased which we captured on his phone screen this night.
