Arua City Gears Towards Welcoming President Museveni for Ezama Ham Mizamil Thanksgiving Ceremony in WestNile Region.

The residents of Arua, in preparations to welcome President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in WestNile region for Ezama Ham Mizamil Thanksgiving Ceremony, marched in a procession of over 1000 people in Arua City on Thursday 23-5-2024.
The Thanksgiving ceremony whose main objective is to thank President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the appointments, developments and services rendered in WestNile region, will take place on 8-June-2024 in Arua City.
Coordinator for the event, Draku Aziz assured the public that, they are ready and prepared to make sure the ceremony succeeds.
He said, so many groups and associations from different districts have confirmed their attendance for the forthcoming event of 8-June-2024.
Aziz thanked the various departments in government for positive collaboration and coordination regarding the Thanksgiving ceremony.
Lemeriga Fadhil, the regional spokesperson for Democratic Party (DP) who is frustrated by what he termed as unequal treatment of people in WestNile region, said, he plans to present a Memo to be read for President Museveni on that day of the event on 8-June-2024.
Mr Adomati Dickson who was the first deputy RCC in Central Division Arua City and found himself dropped on 23-3-2022 over unclear circumstances, said, the people in WestNile region like fighting themselves.
He is hoping that, the Thanksgiving event will be successful on 8-June-2024.

The central division Arua City Deputy RCC Mr Ezama Ham Mizamil while rallying for unity amongst the people of WestNile region, assured the public that, he is not contesting for any political position come 2026 general elections.
The central organizing committee (COC) for the Thanksgiving ceremony is expecting to mobilize over 10,000 people to attend the ceremony on 8-June-2024 where, HIS Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be the guest of honor.
