ENG. TIYO WILLIAM ODAA, THE AYIVU EAST PARLIAMENTARY HOPEFUL WAS THE BEST MAN AT MR ALIJA YOSIA'S WEDDING

It was all excitement at Lamila parish, Kijomoro sub-county in Maracha county when Eng. Tiyo Odaa was the best man at the wedding of the cousin to Arua chairman business community Mr. Obeta moses.

Mr Alija Yosia, a farmer in Poo clan, Lamila ward in Okokoro Town council, Maracha Constituency in Maracha District on Saturday 10-Feb-2024 wedded Alice in Trinity Church of Uganda Lamila.

Tiyo William, who was composed at the wedding is the main challenger of Hon. Feta Geofrey the incumbent MP Ayivu East Constituency. Tiyo, who is highly religious and is loved among the people of Ayivu is the grand-son to Odaa who was once an MP representing Arua in the early days of Uganda's independence.

Tiyo Taylor William is so much loved among the Ayivu for his calmness and humility.

The people of Ayivu East have therefore promised to send him to the 12th Parliament replacing the incumbent.


Eng. Tiyo, who is the Ag. District Executive Engineer Arua has promised to represent the people of Ayivu East with distinction once elected to the 12th Parliament.


Tiyo was on weekend the best man at a wedding and promised the couple a happy marriage.

Ambassador Angualia Richard Perished in a Fatal Accident.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.

Photo by #Information_is_Power's news reporter.  This afternoon Friday 5-December-2025, a student from St Joseph Laboratory Training School in Maracha hospital, a one  Araku Denis drowned in Rokoze water body in Nyadri Sub-county and the  body has not been retrieved upto this night as the police and residents searched for it and in vain but they are expected to resume retrieving it tomorrow Saturday 6-December-2025. 📸: Photo of the deceased which we captured on his phone screen this night. Araku and his fellow students had  reportedly gone to pass time at water point after completing exams papers of today.
