The technical and political leaders of Maracha District have on Tuesday 12-December-2023 handed over one big tractor and 19 handheld walking tractors which will soon be distributed out to the 19 Sub-counties and town councils in the district.

The ceremony whose guest of Honour was the district Woman MP Hon Driwaru Jennifer, was graced by political and technical department heads of the District.

The production officer for Maracha District Dr Candia Alex thanked the government for having a vision to alleviate poverty amongst the people.

He added that, all efforts are put in place to see that farmers are trained on the necessary skills and knowledge on Agriculture.

LC V Chairperson for Maracha District Hon Obitre Stephen who attributed the distribution of the tractors to fulfillment of government manifesto, described these as commercialization of Agriculture by the government.

Guest of Honour of the event who is also the woman MP for Maracha District, Hon Driwaru Jennifer stated that, it was in the middle of this year 2023 when they started jointly lobbying for these tractors.

While chipping in the guidelines from Ministry of Agriculture about distribution of the equipments to various Sub-counties in the Maracha District, the woman MP dismissed rumors that, she identified a particular farmers group called "Cash Farmers" in Tara Sub-county to receive the big tractor while other Sub-counties received the handheld tractors.

Surgeons fined $60,000 and banned permanently from profession after billionaire died during penis enlargement surgery.

Surgeons have been banned from practicing plastic surgery after a billionaire patient died during a penis enlargement procedure. Belgian-Israeli diamond dealer Ehud Arye Laniado, 65, died of a heart attack during the procedure to enlarge his penis at the Saint-Honore-Ponthieu aesthetic clinic in Paris. His star surgeon, known as Guy H, was known for operating on wealthy clients and he treated Ehud two to four times a year in procedures costing tens of thousands of euros. Wealthy Omega Diamonds owner Ehud would be operated on out of office hours. He had been having injections into his penis to make it appear larger. An investigation was swiftly opened into potential manslaughter chargers following his death, though it soon shifted to charges of failing to assist a person in danger, drug offences and practicing medicine without a licence.
