" We are so late in some areas, we need to reinvent our ways of doing agriculuture, open up community lands and empower them to produce for the market, other than producing for the stomach, times have changed and we need to change to be competitive within the region of East Africa, Africa and the world".

The function was graced by Hon Frank Tumwebaze, Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries which is the led agency in fulfulling the Presidential pledge of availing tractors to all districts in Uganda, as discussed with NRM Parliamentary Caucus, Hon Hamson Obua, Government Chief Whip, along with his whips Hon Atima Jackson Lee Buti for West Nile, Hon Ayoo Tonny for Lango and Hon Anywar Ricky for Acholi. Hon Hamson Obua quoted the gospel of John 1: 46  "And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see." Many people have been saying that is there any thing good that comes from NRM Parliamentary Caucus, but today let them see, when we sit and discuss, we do it for the good of the people of Ugannda.
