" We are so late in some areas, we need to reinvent our ways of doing agriculuture, open up community lands and empower them to produce for the market, other than producing for the stomach, times have changed and we need to change to be competitive within the region of East Africa, Africa and the world".

The function was graced by Hon Frank Tumwebaze, Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries which is the led agency in fulfulling the Presidential pledge of availing tractors to all districts in Uganda, as discussed with NRM Parliamentary Caucus, Hon Hamson Obua, Government Chief Whip, along with his whips Hon Atima Jackson Lee Buti for West Nile, Hon Ayoo Tonny for Lango and Hon Anywar Ricky for Acholi.
