Gabon Military Leaders on Wednesday 30-8-2023 Have Issued a Statement After Seizing Power, Dissolving Majority Institutions, Closing the Borders and Annulled Election results that were conducted during the weekend 26-8-2023.

Following series of events in the Saturday polls where Foreign journalists were chased, internet shutdown and imposed curfew, the coup leaders argued that, the election was not free and fair.

Police in Arua district are investigating a case of assault and threatening violence involving the Member of Parliament for Ayivu West Constituency John Lematia and James Ariko, a DSTV technician in Arua city.
