MP Leku Joel Delivers First Aid Kits to Football Clubs in Terego District.

The football clubs in Terego District have on Friday 21-7-2023 received First Aid Kits lobbied by Terego West Constituency MP Hon Leku Joel, from Islamic Centre for Education and Research.

The CEO and PRO for Golden Star Olua football club Mr Alfred Demubo admitted that, it is the first of its kind for them to receive this kind of donation in Terego District.

He hopes the First Aid Kits will help them in improving their sports activities through catering for eventualities among others as far as sports is concerned.

Wandi Soccer Club vice chairperson Mr Econi Felix narrated the suffering they went through in the past due to lack of First Aid Kits, and he thanked the organization (Islamic Centre for Education and Research) and Hon Leku Joel for lobbying these First Aid Kits for clubs in Terego District.

Terego West Constituency MP Hon Joel Leku who lobbied the items, acknowledged the little support sports sector is receiving.

He pledged for more support for the sports sector in the District.

Police in Arua district are investigating a case of assault and threatening violence involving the Member of Parliament for Ayivu West Constituency John Lematia and James Ariko, a DSTV technician in Arua city.
