Arua District Leaders Task Ajia Health Centre III Workers to Write Apology Letter Over Absenteeism.

Arua District leaders led by Resident District Commissoner Mr Okiswa Geoffrey were left in shock after 2 staffs out of 18 were found on duty when they went to commission a staff house in Ajia health centre III, recently.


Hon Candini Luiji the secretary for works and social services who condemned the actions of the health workers at Ajia health centre III, said, that is the routine behavior of most health workers in Ajia and Bondo health centre III.


After expressing himself with emotions, Hon Candini said, he doesn't regret any of his words spoken over the absenteeism saga.


The area councilor for Ajia Sub-county Hon Ayikobua Cosmas who doubles as the LC5 Vice Chairperson for Arua district apologized to the district leaders over absenteeism of health workers at the facility.

He cautioned them that, whoever doesn't improve in regards to that effect will be held liable next time.


The resident district commissioner for Arua District Mr Okiswa Geoffrey emphasized that, President Museveni is passionate about the issue of human resource.


He tasked the incharge of Ajia health centre,  Mr Bokwa Samuel to write an apology letter addressing it to the district technical and political leaders over the absenteeism.


Despite the fact that, only 2 staffs out of 18 were found on duty that day, the incharge for the facility Mr Samule Bokwa defended the incident by stating that, they use duty rosters for each and every staff in the health centre.
