The incharge for Wandi Health Centre III Mrs Amundaru Rozely appreciated the area MP, reiterating that, they were having problems in the facility in terms of number of beds because they do offer admissions, OPD and maternity delivery services in the health centre.

She appealed to government through Hon Leku Joel to have the inpatient facility expanded to solve the problem of congestion.

Mr Kisa Eric the acting incharge for Aripea health centre III thanked Hon Leku Joel for buying and donating mattresses with marking thoans that fit Ministry of health standards.

He said, the current beds at the health centre have worn out mattresses and marking thoans which at times result into infecting some other people through drop of fluids or bloods from accident victims or other patients admitted there.

A patient attendant at Oriajini health centre III Mrs Abaru Chelestina narrated their pain of been admitted on the floors due to lack of enough beds.

She said, at times people who come to visit them end up going away because they can't find them due to the congestion at the facility which forces some of them to lie down on the floor using mats.

The resident district commissioner for Terego District Mr Ayikobua Festus thanked Hon Leku Joel for using his own money to buy the mattresses, marking thoans and even transporting them.

Mr Festus urged health workers to take care of the equipments in order to avoid vandalization.

Terego west constituency MP Hon Leku Joel stated that, the urge to help his people through boostimg the health sector in the district pushed him to buy those mattresses with their marking thoans after lobbying the beds from Ministry of Health.

Hon Leku acknowledged the insufficient number of beds in those health centers and promised to lobby for more to address the inadequacy in Terego District.

The ten beds and ten mattresses were distributed equally to all the five health facilities in Terego West Constituency, namely; Aripea health centre III in Leju town council, Oriajini hospital in Katrini sub-county, Cilio health centre III in Aii-vu sub-county, Oninia health centre III in Katrini sub-county and St Francis Ocodri health centre III in Bileafe sub-county.
