Arua District Deputy RDC Ezama Ham Mizamil Donates 10 Bags of Cement to Support Community Initiative in Vurra Sub-county.

The Deputy Resident District Commissoner for Arua District, Mr Ezama Ham Mizamil has fulfilled a pledge he made on 17-9-2022 during a meeting to initiate and launch mobilization for this community access Adumini bridge which connects Eruba parish and Kuluva parish in Vurra Sub-county, Arua District.

While officially handing over the 10 bags of cement he promised for this community, the Deputy RDC sounded a strong warning saying, under the policies of government, it is not allowed for communities to raise funds from people to maintain or construct a road or bridge or hospital or school, however, under some circumstances where the resources of government are stretched, the community can initiate such programs but with strict monitoring and guidelines of relevant authorities in government.

Mr Ezama Ham averred that, what he has done by contributing these bags of cement and still pledged to offer 100 Liters of fuel in regards to this work, is on humanity basis but not politics or any other reason.

He has castigated some politicians for speaking bias against the initiative of the communities.

The community members applauded the Deputy RDC Ezama Ham for being unique and generous in his entire life.

If we have 10 more people like Mr Ezama Ham Mizamil, our area and region would have developed far by now.
