First, child labour is not the same as child trafficking. It simply means that the work the child is doing takes away their childhood and the potential to grow as children and is therefore harmful to their physical and mental development.
For example, any work that requires a child to choose between school time and work is harmful to them because it interferes with their education. It is also wrong if the work exposes them to things that would interfere with their development.
However, even if Child labour is not allowed, it is not the same as child trafficking. This is because the work that makes certain practices child labour is work that is acceptable for an adult. However, trafficking, when done to a child, is still trafficking if it is done to an adult in most instances. For example, if an adult is manipulated, tricked or forced to work for someone, it is still a form of human trafficking, just as it would be for a child.
