The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Maracha District, Mr Paul Walakira has been arrested by IGG for defying lawful orders and calling IGG letter "forged".
This comes after IGG wrote a letter to interdict six Maracha District officials emanating from shoddy works and mismanagement of Shs 1.9 billion government funds meant for construction project at Kololo Seed SS in Tara Sub-county, Maracha District.
The elusive CAO Mr Paul, who has been lying to RDC Mr Festus Ayikobua that, he is in Masaka for some function, was picked this morning while hiding in his home at Koboko.
As per now, the CAO is been taken to Kampala.
