Ayivu Chiefdom has Formally Written a Letter Giving Go Ahead for Investor Hon Oguzu Lee and Uganda Government.

In a letter dated 24-1-2022 addressed to different Agencies of Government, a copy of which this online publication blog team has seen, the Ayivu clan leaders have distanced themselves and condemned the acts of hooliganism, incitement of violence, character assassination and tribalism at play by a group of some people.

Your Excellency President Museveni, on behalf of Ayivu Clan leaders and on my own behalf, we thank you and your able government for all the efforts the NRM government has put to improve the wellbeing of the people of Ayivu County notably poverty alleviation programmes under decentralization policy and principles for example PMA, NUSAF I, II and III, Operation Wealth Creation among others and support of cultural institutions these coupled with peace under your able leadership has made us to appreciate and own your government.

Your Excellence, the forest in reference has been property of the Republic of Uganda since 1932 and now under the management of National Forestry Authority (NFA).

Therefore, we support government's Ecotourism and Recreational Park Development Project being implemented in accordance with the laws of the Land.

We condemn acts of hooliganism, incitement of violence,  character assassinations, tribal sentiments and assert that they do not represent the position of the Ayivu People.

Therefore,  i and all the clan leaders of Ayivu urge the subjects to desist from fighting such government programmes.

Your Excellency, my humble request is to meet you with my clan leaders of Ayivu Chiefdom about reduction of the size of Arua City and have Ayivu in Arua District.
