ALART⚠️ Beware of Thieves During this Festive Season, Bazaar Ward Councillor Oshino Rashid Advises Arua City Residents and Visitors.

Good morning everyone 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋

As you prepare to come to Arua City for the festive season note the following Security tips,,

Don't go to town if you don't have to, there are boys gathering in groups either under the tree or in any shade becareful when you approach such gatherings, your phone, watch, money or any valuable including your teeth can leave you during broad day, either move in a group of 3 or don't move

When boarding a Boda check the condition of the bike and ensure that the bike has 2 number plates both in front and behind or always take some one whom you know well,

If you feel lost just look for Arua Hill Stadium you will pick your direction from there, Arua at night is a different Arua and Day time is a different Arua with Various events,

If you move into new house use 2 padlocks no matter how of good quality they are, becareful when you are transferring yourself, the tricycle ( raxa) the young boys you use can move away with some of your pocketable items especial remote controls.

In case some one drops anything in front of you don't pick it, walk away like you are blind, when they call sister, lawyer, doctor don't respond even if you are a doctor, that's called ''Kpugbulu'' don't mind about some ones money, you risk losing your valuables, those are advanced cons, always be vigilant,

On mkt lane, taban lane Gaga and hawker entrance including where there's congestion, don't stop in these places any how, walk mercilessly, if you have hips use them to pave way for yourself, elbows are good weapon for yourself, if you are passing by someone hits you as you walk along the streets hit them back, there no one apologizes, they are tricking to cause confusion so that you are searched.

There are roads I request you not use them when not necessary,, Baruku road, Wadrif road Adumi road from smash round about, lobida mkt, Easy corner, these are black spots any time you get hit and attacked becareful if you have a car use it to access these areas, but generally be careful with Arua because every where it's dark,,

When you have motorbike like Brazil, AG, XL any bike that costs beyond 10M my brothers and sisters if your home security is not enough pack your bike at the Petrol station, these boys ride after you the whole day to find out where you pack the bike, becareful when you come to town for short notice I advise you to pack careful

Leave your Islamic, Christian virtues and fruits of your Holly spirits at home , think like a con and treat everyone like a suspect, otherwise you will get fixed in this city,

Never ever buy phones, electronics on the streets, never buy second hand items especially 4ns regardless of how cheap they are, unless there are from trusted friend with an address, Why? you will get surprised when detectives track you and say we got the head where is the body.

I wish everyone Merry Christmas and Prosperous new year, may this year be a blessing to you all,

Oshino Rasheed.
