APPLAUSE TO ARUA DISTRICT COVID-19 TASK FORCE, BUT THE PUBLIC IS DEMANDING TRANSPARENCY AND PRESS CONFERENCE OVER THE RELIEF ITEMS DONATED.

With sincere thoughts and feelings, just kindly wish to congratulate Arua District Covid-19 Task Force, under the vast Administrations of RDC, the LC V, the CAO, the DHOs and the Municipal Officials, who are playing Personal and Team Roles to ensure effectiveness in Services offered to the People of Arua District during all these moments of Quarantine and Lockdown.

However, the Public is not fully satisfied with what the Task Force Team rendered, especially the Distribution Process of Food for the People whose Shops have been closed since the effectiveness of the Covid-19 Lockdown.

The general Public is aware that, the VOICE OF WEST NILE (VWN) Organisation and the Government of Uganda Donated over SIX Tones of Food to Arua District Covid-19 Task Force, to help the Vulnerable People and those in Quarantine Centers.

I personally spoke to some Shop Operators at KKT PLAZA, at HOCKER and some Boda Boda Riders, to find out if they have received Relief Foods from Arua District Covid-19 Task Force, they said, Not even a Half Kg of Posho has been given to them since their Businesses were closed following President Museveni and Mimistry of Health Directives on Prevention of the Covid-19 contraction.

Surprisingly, we have got a Calm Population that Abides to whatever Laws and Directives, but hidden motives may be the reasons to press these Population into Riots.

It would be of impact to display Transparency to obstruct subjection of Unnecessities.

The general Public is demanding for Accountability of the Relief Foods donated; How many People benefited? and Who are they?.

Am quite sure, the Lists and the Names of those who benefited from the Relief Items, may be availably noted! Unless, there are some Ghost Beneficiaries.
