IN HER CONTINOUS EFFORTS TO COMBAT UNEMPLOYMENT AND POVERTY, MARACHA DISTRICT WOMAN MP INVENTED FISH FARMING PROJECTS FOR THE YOUTHS IN MARACHA.

Hon Ayaka Rose Atima, the Woman Member of Parliament for Maracha District, has in years now, been volunterily thriving auxiliary support for the Youths in terms of providing them with Basic Skills and Knowledge of how to make money.
Fish Pond Project initiative, is one of the many other skills the Woman MP has been rendering for the People of Maracha to alleviate Poverty.

During an interface we had in the beginning of March-2020 with the youth leaders of the pilot sites, we learnt that many groups are preparing their ponds to benefit from this venture with a lot of anxiety.

Also on a Telephone Interview with One of the Fish Farmers in Maracha, it is disclosed that, each of the Fish Pond contains about 500 Immature Fish and if taken care properly for about Six Months, One mature Fish can weigh 3Kgs and above.

Per the current Commodity Prices, One Kilogram of 🐟 Fish equals to 20,000 Shillings.
To give a brief overview, 20,000 X 3 = 60,000 Shs (per fish).
Then multiply Shillings 60,000 times the roughly number of the Fish, which is 500.
60,000 X 500 = 30,000,000 Shs income per Fish Pond.

The Youths who are being United and Organised 30 People per Group, are Appreciating Hon Ayaka Rose Atima for being a dedicated and generous leader sacrificing her Own resources to empower the Youths with Financial Skills and Resources in Maracha District.
The Honourable MP has thanked the Youths for forming Groups to embrace the Developmental agendas enabling them to financial Independence.

She further advised that, more youths are encouraged to join this initiative which will be soon rolled to all the parishes in the district since the first phase sites in the two constituencies (Maracha Constituency and Maracha East Constituency) have proved successful.

However, the Youths are castigating some leaders in the district for only being good at making noise in public without tangible ventures on the ground towards poverty eradication.

The Youths have also Congratulated President Museveni for laying the foundation of Peace in the Country which has enabled every Citizen regardless of Political Party differences, to flourish with Governmental or Personal or Communally Businesses and projects in shaping the Life and the Future by working tirelessly in many economic generating Activities in Maracha District, in entire WestNile Region and in the whole of Uganda.

Long Live Hon Ayaka Rose Atima!
Long Live Maracha District!
Long Live President Museveni!
Long Live Uganda!

FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY.
