Despite of the Public Transport system being Shutdown, some Drivers are Riskingly manouvaring to Transport People for Shillings 20000 per Person from Arua to Koboko, which, the Transport Fee used to be Ugandan Shillings 7000 Per Person.
Another Driver, Driving a Silvery iPsum “UAT 719W” has been Arrested and taken to Arua CPS, for Defying Government Lockdown Orders.
Meanwhile, all the Shops and Shopping Markets in Arua and in all Parts of Uganda are currently under lockdown, with the Security Forces (Soldiers and Police) been heavily deployed to Arrest those who Defy National and International Isolation.
On the other Hand, i contacted some People and Roadside Vendors, on How they Feel about the Lockdown and what they think the Government should do to enhance situations at the same time protecting Public Safety.
Some of these Vendors, infact responded to me, in a manner of blaming the entire Government but not seeing the Government protecting them.
Our Government Loves us and that is why, we are been Protected in such dire moments, is my last word Advise to the Vendors.
In Pictorial is, Old Kampala Taxi Park.Other Information from Kampala indicate that, Taxi Operators and Boda Bodas are loyal and obedient to the new directives made yesterday 25-March-2020 by President Museveni.
