UPDF SHOULD BE DISMANTLED AND A NEW NATIONAL ARMY MUST BE FORMED.



What criteria was used to recruit NRA army that was transformed into a national army? Based on this assumption that Museveni used his own criteria to recruit and train NRA, it is safe to say that Uganda has no national army and urgent steps must be taken to dismantle UPDF and a new national army formed.



We have been misled into believing that the UPDF is a national army but the sour truth is that UPDF, SCF are all personal armies for Museveni and his family. We all know that UPDF arose from the twenty seven rag tag army that had pledged allegiance  to Museveni not the country.



During the war, Museveni recruited 2000 Rwanda refugees into NRA which made Museveni's personal military even stronger. This force was not a national army both in nature and character. After grabbing power, Museveni pretended to integrate other armies into his force and we all know what happened to the rest of the army personnel that did not pledge allegiance  to Museveni at the time of their inception. All were wiped out.



This personal army was erroneously transformed into a national army to the amazement of those that drafted the 1995 useless constitution that has become a national joke. Based on this original personal army turning it into a national army, it must be resolved and a true national army be formed. We have no idea what criteria was used to recruit NRA that is now known to terrorize the citizens.



UPDF cannot do anything to challenge its creator and that is why dictator Museveni calls UPDF his army. Anyone thinking of taking over power from Museveni must go through his personal army. Tax payers money has been used to fund and train as well as buying military hardware for Museveni's personal armies.



If Uganda had a true parliament, this would be the most critical constitutional amendment to be allowed. Anyone who believes that we have a national army, I have land to sell to you cheaply on the moon. Who bewitched Ugandans that we fail to see this naked lies from doctor Museveni and we simply follow him like stupid ducklings.
