Hackers Penetrate Giant Telecommunications Company MTN.

However, the company reassured stakeholders that its core infrastructure—including billing systems and financial platforms—remains uncompromised and fully functional. In a statement published Thursday 24-4-2025 on its official website, MTN revealed that an unidentified third party claimed to have accessed portions of its systems. The breach, which is still under investigation, prompted the telecom giant to take immediate action to assess the damage and inform the necessary authorities.
