Maracha District Officials Summoned Over the Stalled 2.8 Billion Shs Kololo Seed Secondary Project.

Leaked information reaching our news desk indicates that the Office of the Auditor General has summoned some of the key Maracha District officials to appear before them for an inquiry on 7-August-2025 in Hoima City.

The construction project of this Seed Secondary School located in Vurra Parish, Tara Sub-county in Maracha East Constituency, Maracha District was launched in the 2018 / 2019 financial year, funded under the Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers (UGIFT) project, and it was expected to be constructed in one year and commissioned in 2020.

The Kololo Public Seed Secondary School whose construction project totaling to 2.8 Billion Shs ( 760,476 USD) which has so far taken 7 years, has again stalled near its completion after the financial year 2024 / 2025 did not only come to an end and the remaining money in the accounts of the district was swept back to the consolidated funds but also the projects under Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfers (UGIFT) in Uganda ended by 30 June 2025.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.

Surgeons fined $60,000 and banned permanently from profession after billionaire died during penis enlargement surgery.

Surgeons have been banned from practicing plastic surgery after a billionaire patient died during a penis enlargement procedure. Belgian-Israeli diamond dealer Ehud Arye Laniado, 65, died of a heart attack during the procedure to enlarge his penis at the Saint-Honore-Ponthieu aesthetic clinic in Paris. His star surgeon, known as Guy H, was known for operating on wealthy clients and he treated Ehud two to four times a year in procedures costing tens of thousands of euros. Wealthy Omega Diamonds owner Ehud would be operated on out of office hours. He had been having injections into his penis to make it appear larger. An investigation was swiftly opened into potential manslaughter chargers following his death, though it soon shifted to charges of failing to assist a person in danger, drug offences and practicing medicine without a licence.
