Over 70 People Ferried in a Bus to NRM Party Secretariat in Kampala to Demand for Creation of "Ayivu District", as Another Team Also Traveled to Oppose It.

The scene at the NRM secretariat at Kololo in Kampala where the all important decision on Ayivu District shall be taken.

People are sitted in clusters with those agitating for a district status led by Ayivu West Constituency MP Hon Lematia John engaged in traditional dances.He led a team of 70 peasants in bus.

Ayivu East Constituency MP Hon Feta Godfrey and former Ayivu West Constituency MP Hon Atiku Bernard and former Minister Hon Bakoko Bakoru leading another team agitating for the creation of seven divisions and constituencies also present.

The Arua Central Division team is led by Hon Atima Lee Jackson accompanied by a team of councillors, Captain Buga Matata,Asara Night and I Lemeriga Fadhil who spearheaded the restoration of the old boundaries of Arua Central Division which eventually culminated into the creation of Arua City where the entire Ayivu Division was swallowed.

The swallowing led to the creation of Save Ayivu Initiative that has been agitating for the reduction of city size.

Arua Central Division wants the former Arua Hill and River Oli Divisions as separate constituencies and a woman Member.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.
