It should be noted that, Tara Sub-county Headquarter and Tara Police Station buildings are just 2 meters close to each other as they were built on the same land.
Malicious damage by the alleged Mad Man occurred at midnight.
The whole of Tara Sub-county only has 4 police officers.
An alleged mad Man in the name of David Asulea from Agavua village, Wanguru Parish in Tara Sub-county, Maracha East Constituency in Maracha District has destroyed all the glasses on the windows of Tara Sub-county Headquarter and Tara Police Station.

Photo by Osuta Yusuf, Our News Reporter.The ugly incident happened last week at midnight as residents nor police officers intervened to stop or make an arrest as the man kept on smashing the glasses of the windows on the Sub-county headquarter and equally the glasses on the windows of the building at the police station.

Photo by Our News Reporter.Tara Sub-county LC3 Chairperson Hon Obega Akwilino blamed the police officers at Tara Police Station for negligence, and he appealed for relocation of the police station to a far different place and transfer of all the police officers who are currently serving in the Sub-county.
“Most of these police officers we have here are very old and weak, therefore they can't be physically active or run when there is an emergency”, Hon Obega stated in his comment during an interview with our reporter on Monday 7-April-2025.

“Let people not deceive the public that the man is mad! He is not mad but he is just pretending”, Mr. Walugembe reiterated as he confirmed their efforts as the district security committee to prepare all the necessary files and evidences to take the man to court and answer for the crime he has committed on government facilities.
When we asked Hajji Ramathan over the appeal of the LC3 Chairperson Hon Obega who is advocating for relocation of the police station and transfer of all those police officers at the Sub-county headquarter on the claims of Negligence, the RDC who, by protocol and policy, is the head of security in the district, promised to take punitive action against any police officer whom investigation might find guilty for negligence on that fateful night when the destructions were done on those buildings.
