PWDs Union Finally Registered in Maracha District.

The Union of persons with disabilities in Maracha District has officially been registered under the National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) after the PWDs elected Drapari Dicky Nyomia on 14-August-2024 as their Chairperson in Maracha District.

Speaking to our reporter on Wednesday 20-November-2024, Mr Drapari Dicky Nyomia expressed his happiness for the success of registering their Union ever since it was formed and recognized in Maracha District ten years ago.

While narrating a testimony from other regions of Uganda which he witnessed at the 37th Anniversary celebration of National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) advocacy day last week Thursday 14-November-2024 in Mukono District, Mr Drapari is optimistic that, he would lay a strong foundation and spirit of independence for development for PWDs in Maracha District.

“If people with disabilities (PWDs) from other regions of Uganda can be able to develop by engaging in productive activities like Agriculture, why can't we as the PWDs from Maracha also do it”, Mr Dicky reiterated as he hopes to end the culture of begging by PWDs.


Meanwhile, during the 37th Anniversary celebration of National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) last week 14-November-2024, the Union was able to award gifts to PWDs from some districts of Uganda for engaging in productive Agricultural activities, and a skyscraper building for the Union was also launched.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.

Surgeons fined $60,000 and banned permanently from profession after billionaire died during penis enlargement surgery.

Surgeons have been banned from practicing plastic surgery after a billionaire patient died during a penis enlargement procedure. Belgian-Israeli diamond dealer Ehud Arye Laniado, 65, died of a heart attack during the procedure to enlarge his penis at the Saint-Honore-Ponthieu aesthetic clinic in Paris. His star surgeon, known as Guy H, was known for operating on wealthy clients and he treated Ehud two to four times a year in procedures costing tens of thousands of euros. Wealthy Omega Diamonds owner Ehud would be operated on out of office hours. He had been having injections into his penis to make it appear larger. An investigation was swiftly opened into potential manslaughter chargers following his death, though it soon shifted to charges of failing to assist a person in danger, drug offences and practicing medicine without a licence.
