The association of Arua Taxi park traders have on Tuesday 7-Nov-2023 unearthed some officials in Arua City authority as being beneficiaries in the allocation of stall in the taxi park.
The allegations triggered the arrest of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Arua City, Mr Adriko Sam whose name was cited as a beneficiary in the stalls.

Mr Lemayi Gad Jurua the secretary for Arua City Taxi Park Traders Union says what baffles them most as traders is how Landlords have emerged in government properties and the purported landlords are issuing out fake rent receipts with no heading, no persons name and no telephone number attached to it.

The Vice Chairperson of Arua City Taxi Park traders association Mr Momma Norbert who decried exorbitant charging and variation on rent payments for stalls in the Taxi park, pinned Arua City CFO Mr Sam Adriko as a beneficiary of stalls who is also trying to permanently sale stall Room number GX 06 to a market vendor at 15m Shs.
The State Minister for Economic monitoring Hon Akello Beatrice who directed for the arrest of the implicated officer says, these people will be investigated till the logical conclusion of the case.

Central Division Arua City MP Hon Atima Lee Jackson prays that, there will be no compromise in handling of the investigations into these cases.
