There is "No Corruption" in Maracha District, LC V Chairman Hon Obitre Insists.

The Maracha District LC V Chairman, Hon Obitre Stephen has lashed out at people he claimed to be tainting image of the District by making falls alarms and spreading falls news about corruption allegations.
In an exclusive interview this online Publication blog and other media houses in WestNile region had with the LC V Chairman earlier today 11am 14-9-2022, he said, there is nothing like corruption in the District, lamenting, some selfish interests are fueling the whole mess in the District.

When queried on what he meant by that statement, the LC V Chairman said, what is happening in the District is just a fight of two people, District Engineer Olega who was interdicted one year ago and now the acting Engineer Ezati Timothy who is also on interdiction list stemming from shoddy works and mismanagement of government funds worth 1,900,000,000 Shs in Kololo seed SS construction project in Tara Sub-county.
Hon Obitre also dismissed IGG's interdiction letter trending on Social Media, where, six district officials (DEO Flavia Osoa, Acting District Engineer Ezati Timothy Maluma, CFO Candia Stephen, Senior Assistant Engineer Ezati Robert , District Internal Auditor Abiribale T Paul and Senior Assistant Engineer Oneti William) are listed for interdiction over the same Kololo seed secondary school construction project.
He narrated, Ministry has wrote a letter to them, to finish completion of the stalled construction works by 30-9-2022, if not, they will withdraw the extra monies the ministry had sent to the District to complete that Kololo seed SS project and ministry would further blacklist Maracha District from receiving in future any of such UGIFT fundings.
To catch up with the deadline of the ministry, by Monday or Tuesday 20-9-2022, you people are going to see our adverts to get a contractor to finish that remaining construction work that has stalled, he added.

When asked on the interdiction letter he said is trending on Social Media, the LC V Chairman dismissed the letter as fake, saying, the District has not received an official letter in regards to that effect.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.

Surgeons fined $60,000 and banned permanently from profession after billionaire died during penis enlargement surgery.

Surgeons have been banned from practicing plastic surgery after a billionaire patient died during a penis enlargement procedure. Belgian-Israeli diamond dealer Ehud Arye Laniado, 65, died of a heart attack during the procedure to enlarge his penis at the Saint-Honore-Ponthieu aesthetic clinic in Paris.
