RDC Mr Ayikobua Mourns Deceased Police Officer & His Wife, Pleads with Families of the Two not to Fingerpoint.

The Resident District Commissioner for Maracha District, Mr Festus Ayikobua has condole with the family, relatives, friends and in-laws of the Police officer who shot his wife dead and later killed himself too using the same gun assigned to him at duty station.
It's alleged that, the Couple have being having misunderstandings and quarrels over a range of issues and the latest being a quarrel on Tuesday morning 23-8-2022 over a phone.
Mr Festus, while speaking with this online publication site condemned the approach the Police Officer at the rank of Police Constable (PC) Alioma Isaac used to solve the misunderstanding.
The RDC asked each and everyone who may encounter misunderstandings with their family members or relatives, to approach Religious leaders, cultural leaders, counselors or even government officials for advise before a situation worsens to that extent.
Mr Festus has urged Families of the Couple not to fingerpoint at any member or party being responsible for that mess, instead let them forgive each other and cooperate on how they can be able to raise the two orphans left behind by the Couple Mr Alioma Isaac and Mrs Maturu Beatrice aged 25 years old.
It's perhaps embarrassing to hear or see people in uniform who are supposed to be the first people to observe law and order in the society, to be the first to disobey and act contrary to the law through committing suicide by shooting, He lamented.
The RDC has warned Police Officers, Prison Wardens, Soldiers and private Security Guards not to use the Guns for Ungodly and Unconstitutional acts but rather let them use the Guns to serve and protect our community and Country.
