No, your landlord should not enter your house just because they built it. By law the landlord owns property and gives it out in return for rent every month you use this house.
The law gives every tenant a right to enjoy the use of the house without interference from any other person including the landlord if you continue to comply with all the terms of the agreement. (This is called the quiet possession).
As a compromise, the law will allow your landlord to occasionally enter the house to inspect it to ensure that it is safe for the tenants (habitable) and it is good and repairable condition. However, the landlord should notify you in advance and you agree on a suitable time. But this should not be weekly or monthly.
