Schools were suspended late March as a means of combating the spread of COVID19 that had started to manifest itself in Uganda, as President Museveni directed the immediate closure of all learning institutions in Uganda.
"My package will include washing cans, and soap to wash hands for 3 months and a temperature gun or monitor for all schools, immediately government announces their opening anytime" said Atima
In an exclusive Jackson Atima has expressed his appreciation to President Museveni and the ministry of health for the guidance and directives on combating COVID19, but also the security forces who have been there to ensure security of persons and property, as well as implementation of the directives. He rallied NRM mobilzers and supporters to support their party to win the forthcoming general elections for both presidential, parliamentary and local governments.
