Hon Maneno Zumura Expresses Dissatisfaction with PDM Project as Beneficiaries in Obongi District Aren’t Accessing the Money.



The Obongi District Woman Mp Hon Zumura Maneno has displayed her dissatisfaction as Parish Development Module (PDM) beneficiaries in her District are being delayed to access the funds after disbursement.

She stressed the need for thoroughness if the project is to transform the lives of people , adding that, since President Museveni is expected in 11-April-2023 to go for a tour in WestNile and Madi sub-region, many of the key stakeholders in PDM implementation are in a rush to give out monies to beneficiaries without adequate financial literacy trainings in Obongi District.

Hon Maneno has urged government to offer extensive capacity building of Parish Chiefs through giving them gadgets like Computers and transport means like Motorcycles.

In her conclusion, the Woman MP challenged government to consider these resolutions, or else, PDM will remain without diverse impacts as previous projects like Emyooga, Wealth Creation among others.

Ambassador Angualia Richard Perished in a Fatal Accident.

Lab Student Drowned, Body Missing in Rokoze Lake in Nyadri Sub-county, Maracha District.

Photo by #Information_is_Power's news reporter.  This afternoon Friday 5-December-2025, a student from St Joseph Laboratory Training School in Maracha hospital, a one  Araku Denis drowned in Rokoze water body in Nyadri Sub-county and the  body has not been retrieved upto this night as the police and residents searched for it and in vain but they are expected to resume retrieving it tomorrow Saturday 6-December-2025. 📸: Photo of the deceased which we captured on his phone screen this night.
