Whereas this video may not be very current, it captures the current deeper sentiments of Mr Kagame.
Remember there have been serious mediation the likes of the President of Angola and several summits including one held at the border between Uganda and Rwanda attended by the Angola president.
That didn't solve the problem.
If doubt the visit of Muhoozi Kainerugaba would do the magic bullet
We will surely analyse how we got to this point.
In my previous submissions tracing the Ankole and Rwandese question in the Rise and Fall of the Museveni NRA Occupation #alnakba, I averred there was scanty evidence linking FRONASA to the Tutsi military that was repulsed on the outskirts of Kigali during the counter Hutu Revolution.
I observed that most of the Tutsi military withdrew and disappeared in Tanzania.
During the give away ceremony of Mr Caleb Akandwanaho's daughter a one Kokondeka Jovia, the girl's mother and Saleh wife mobilised a sizeable number of Museveni relatives from Tanzania.
Interestingly Hon Janet Kataha did not attend the function.
Museveni is reported to have praised Jovia for tracking Museveni relatives.
I still failed to trace their linkage to the said Tutsi military.
What is clear though some of the refugees like Kagame and Rwigyema became critical in the NRA.
I was able to land on a FRONASA military cadre who was most likely number five in recruits of FRONASA.
He confirmed the central role played by Augustine Ruzindana.
Whereas there is no literature linking Ruzindana to Rwandese refugees, he is of Rwandese decent.
His ethnic definition complicates the analysis of the Ankole question.
I have previously posted on the rise of Mpororo Kingdom and the emergency of states like Ndorwa, Rukiga, Rujumbura, Kajara, Igara, Bwera etc.
I don't need to go into it again.
Kajara present day Ntungamo like Ndorwa was curved out of Rwanda Kingdom.
Ruzindana was in charge of the armoury of FRONASA in Ntinda
Indications are the FRONASA unit Amin destroyed at Kyambogo had just transited smuggled guns to Ntinda.
Even Elia Kategaya many believed was very close to Museveni, having smuggled in guns with Museveni using Mzee Wavah Munno benz didn't know where guns ended...certainly with Mr Ruzindana.
Amama Mbabazi very deep in the FRONASA operations didn't know FRONASA was going to be party on the attack on Mbarara barracks but Ruzindana Commanded the attack.
Whereas Museveni avers he withdrew the attacking unit to Tanzania, available information indicates Ruzindana withdrew the guns to Kampala.
The likes of Ruzindana though from Rwanda Kingdom became part of this territory long before Uganda came into existence.
In the constituent Assembly we provided for the Rwandese Tribe.
I would nevertheless classify the likes of Ruzindana as Banyankole Bahororo and those in Mityana etc as Baganda.
Ruzindana relates to Kahinda Otafiire.
I'm still doing research on Kahinda Otafiire and mainly the role played by his dear mother.
What is clear though Fred Rwigyema who becomes pivotal in the Rwandese question, and central in the NRA was recruited by Kahinda Otafiire.
Let me make this observation that should conclude this post.
Actors the likes of Amanya Mushega, Otafiire, etc were in the political wing.
Whereas they were critical, they never had control over the military.
You also had commanders from Ankole the likes of Pecos Kutesa in Mobile Brigade, Guma, Kashaka etc who were in combat.
Commanders never related with those in political commissariat.
From Kigezi the likes of Benon Tumukunde, Henry Tumukunde, the sons of Nsheka etc were in Command and the likes of Besigye were in politics and sickbay.
It's that apparent that Rwandese like Rwigyema etc and Bahima were in Military command and Bairu in political commissariat.
Whereas Taddeo Kanyankole was on the High Command he was mainly in training and incharge of Sickbay.
In the subsequent issue, God willing we will examine the role of Ankole and Rwandese refugees in the attack of Kabamba.
Note that the attack on Kabamba was supposed to be on 5th February but was extended to 6th February.
We will examine the role played by the late Brigadier Taddeo Kanyankole, the late Akanga and Amama Mbabazi etc
