On Friday 4-September-2020 NRM Party primary elections, by then Driwaru Jennifer who got 28000 votes defeated Hon Ayaka Rose who got 13000 votes, a result Hon Ayaka wasn't satisfied about and she decided to petition the NRM party tribunal, seeking to quash the results but NRM party tribunal upheld Driwaru Jennifer's victory from the party primary elections. Still unsatisfied by the outcome of both the election results and the petition she filed at the party tribunal, Hon Ayaka Rose decided to run as an Independent candidate in the 14-1-2021 general elections but she was again defeated by Driwaru Jennifer who garnered 30,004 votes and became the winner for the woman MP seat 2021 - 2026, as Hon Ayaka Rose Atim...
